27 July

I have been trying to organise fuel for  a half way stop at Chobe and have had lots of negatives eg;

Dear Norma, Unfortunately there is nowhere for you to land between Maun and Kasane to refuel.

Is  it not possible that the heli will make the trip between Maun and Kasane?..   and another one

 You can only get fuel in Maun and Kasane

Cliffford at Wilderness Safaris Maun  has been so very helpful from day one .

He has organised fuel to be transported to the Chobe Airstrip from a Wilderness Safari Camp an hours drive  away.

Thank you Clifford Mark Dutton  we would not have made it without your help

This is his email  11.46 am shortly  before they landed

HI Norma

I just wanted to advise you that the camp got the message they had a slight delay in getting to the strip so might not be on time but have gone and will radio them again shortly to advise but I am confident that all is sorted and will Charles will be met and re filled with out a problem other than time delay. Sorry about that they had a little vehicle problem as they left to meet him.

Chat soon

Cliff
